We are a group of 6 girls (average age 40 plus)!!! walking Wainwrights Coast to Coast, from St. Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire.
WE HAVE DONE IT.
Our walk started on Sunday April 18th 2010 and finished Thursday 29th April 2010. 192 miles in 12 days.
The Coast to Coast team would like to send a big thank you to all our friends and colleagues, who supported us along the way.
Especially Hayley, Lynn, Mike,Dave,Ian,Kev,Sandra and Chris,Sarah and Helen, who walked part way with us. Also a big thank you to Colin,Ian,Kev and Sandra who helped with the luggage and morale, throughout the trip.
Many thanks to the owners of the accomodation where we have stayed, and special thanks to George and Rosalyn of Grosmont House, for a fantasic final night and a great send off on our final leg of the journey.
All our friends and family who where at Robin Hoods Bay to greet us at the end of our walk, made it a very emotional and a perfect end to an exhilarating and often demanding 12 days, we thank you all.
