Please Help me raise vital funds for Kidney Research UK safely and securely by sponsoring me online!
I have a great friend who needed a kidney transplant now seven years ago and was lucky enough that a family member was able to donate a kidney. But after talking with her more about her situation I have learnt its not all about the transplant, its the treatment you need prior and after and ongoing medicene that is required and I have to admit that prior to asking her I was rather naive about kidney disease and the treatment of it.
Its because of this that I am so pleased to be able to fundraise for Kidney Research UK and help such a great cause.
I'll be so greatful if you can make a donation no matter how big or small as every little helps.
To do this I have set myself the challenge to run the Great North Run on 19th Sept and the Great Eastern Run on 10th October! These events are both Half Marathons and are only three weeks apart!
